The Duisburg Christmas Market stretches along Königstraße throughout the entire city center.

Whether by car, bus and train, bicycle, or on foot: the central location allows for a relaxed arrival, no matter which mode of transport you choose.

The two tram lines 901 and 903 stop at König-Heinrich-Platz. Within walking distance is also Duisburg Central Station, which is accessible via numerous bus and train lines as well as various regional lines. U79: Friday and Saturday every 15 minutes until around 11 p.m. Sunday every 15 minutes from 1 p.m. until around 10 p.m. (except 23 November, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day)
Line 901: Between ‘Scholtenhofstraße’ and ‘Zoo/Uni’ – Sunday to Thursday until around 10 p.m. – Friday & Saturday until around 11 p.m., also every 15 minutes.
Line 903: Between ‘Mannesmann Tor 2’ and ‘Watereck’, trams run every 15 minutes from Sunday to Thursday until around 10 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday until around 11 p.m.
Bus lines 920, 921, 923, 926 and 933 also run with articulated buses on Sundays – for more space and a relaxed journey to the Christmas market.

The changes do not apply on 23 November and Christmas Day.

In addition, myBUS runs from 6 p.m. to 2.30 a.m. on Sundays to Thursdays, from 6 p.m. to 3.30 a.m. on Fridays to Saturdays, and from 6 p.m. to 7.30 a.m. on Saturdays to Sundays and before public holidays.
 

Yes, a Christmas Market shuttle runs in the evenings between the Scholtenhofstraße and Stadtmitte stops. Detailed information can be found at www.dvg-duisburg.de/weihnachtsmarkt

Duisburg can be reached east-west via the A42, A40, and A44. In the north-south direction, the A57, A59, and A3 lead into the city. To the east, the Spaghetti Junction at Kaiserberg distributes traffic in all directions, serving as a major traffic hub in the Ruhr region.

Due to the size of the Christmas Market, the crowd is well distributed, ensuring a relaxed visit even during busy times! The highest visitor numbers are expected in the evening hours on Fridays and Saturdays.
